"Taken for granted" "Once they're gone, then they just started to appreciate"
Sounds familiar. Uhuh. I guess everybody on this planet earth had experience this spectrum of feeling. Taken for granted. Regardless of who, family members, significant other, your pet, teachers, friends. Anyone. And indeed you felt horrible after that. Some people appreciate people when the people is dead/gone/missing/moving or etc. True story.
Me myself, I don't take people for granted (I think). I appreciate people because I hate to in that place of taken for granted. Hurts so much. Or maybe, it's my nature. To extremely care how people feel when interacting with me.
People said, loving is giving and not expecting some taking. Nah, sometimes terasa lah. Sensitive on this and that. Small or big matter. Well, grew up and learn to just accept it and suck it up. Be patient and believe, one day you have the same thing done to you. Insya Allah.
Start to appreciate people around you. Start with a simple thank you or I love you or smile. :) or take your own selca with webcam and send to your love ones. Haha like me!
