Boomer Gum

Sometimes, other's hardships open our eyes on how blessed we are.

While grocery shopping, I saw this kid, crying and wailing to buy a boomer chewing gum like her sister. The dad refused and left her alone.

From my assumption, her father maybe. Kerja contract or low income and the mum housewife, just gave birth to the baby in her arms. They bought only big pack of fries and a bag of pusuk and boomer gum. After a longggg cry, the mum took another boomer gum and paid everything with 50rgt.

I cried a bit when comparing whats in my trolley and theirs. How many people in my house and how many in theirs. How easily I choose 3 tins of Campbell soup and a big tin of crackers. Sigh. I wanna buy something for them but then they seemed to be in rush.

So, Thats another reason to be grateful for blessings Allah gave to us & reflect on how you want your life to be in the future.

May Allah grant them happiness and berkat and that kid happy with her boomer gum.
