Eat Pray Love

Salam

To be honest, am not a "reading" person. I don't actually read books cause I tend to be distracted with other stuffs esp the internet. I prefer short articles with striking colors and graphics (same goes to academic books, sigh)

So, in this case, I watched more movie compared to reading.Nowadays, Zillions of movies adapted from novels and books, like Harry Potter, The Fault in Our Stars, About Time, Nicholas Sparks' etc. I recently watched Eat, Pray, Love released circa 2010. I kept that movie such a long time though, baruk ada mood mok nangga.

It was written by Elizabeth Gilbert, based on her true story discovering herself by taking a year off to Eat in Italy, Pray in India and Love in Indonesia (Bali). The film adaptation was great, plus with the element of travel all around the world really excites me. The main character portrayed by Julia Roberts and I think she played the character well. This movie/novel inspired us to love ourselves first and putting our happiness first before anyone else; believe in God and enjoying life while it lasts.

One of the most memorable quotes in this movie was (which was not in the novel i guess),

" Weddings remind us of ourselves"

And most memorable character name? Ketut Liyer
So please watch/read this great novel ok ?
