Finally..i got to on9 with my own laptop and alhamdulilah i got the UMS wifi registered...
Yeah..azzah is back and insya Allah i can update anytime this blog,...
Well,orientation week is not that interesting or fun for us..huhu..why??
The reason was we have to walk about half an hour to the Dewan Canselor..it was far and hilly...made us go mad and prohibited the girls(especially the girls) to wear make up or wear heels during the orientation week..what a fuss..hahaha..the first day of orientation...I wear my heels and the result was...blisters on my feet..ahhaha..what a day...
The activities was uber bored..filled with taklimat...taklimat and taklimat...we go back late...we used to walk in the rain(i've got sick at that time)..haaa...whatever
Enough on that boring story abt orientation week..the best part was..IT'S OVER...hahhaa
Starting of the week..i felt quite sad..everyday my parents call us..me and my brother..i guess...they feel lonely in the house since no noise making daughter and football addict son in the house..ya..i miss my family very2 much ever since I stepped in UMS...I miss my dad..my mum..and my brother whose now in KL for his diploma..
Before i talk abt the lecture and eveything here..let me introduce abt my school...or faculty..
I am in Sekolah Pertanian Lestari or School of Sustainable Agriculture..the undergraduates for 2009/2010 session was only 50 students for this school and for my program which is Crop Production is only 29 students..alhamdulilah..what a small class
The lecturers are cool and great,....they treat us like family...and yes..that made me and my friends felt welcome!!!huhu...yeah..and insya Allah our school will move to Sandakan in 2011...so it will be my second year..:)
The lecture starts on Monday..i love my timetable..a flexible one...I am free for whole Thursday..every Monday till Friday morning except for Thursday will be my lecture in school..core subject..and sumtimes during afternoon got tutorials and lab..by next week..urmm and night classes are for ethics and also language class...so I'm not that busy lately..haha..but catching up the bus and time management can make me feel tired and weak..ahhaa..it's ok..
Yesterday...I got 3 assignments for Plant nutrition subject..hahaa..more bio..n more chemistry will be learned..and not to forget maths...hahaa..on how to calculate the percentage of fertilizers needed..cool...ahhaha..fun2...so I'm done with all of those last night..and I studied too...good2...
Besides..hehee..in UMS..we are using E-LEARNING or here they named it Learning Management System or LMS...it is very handy and useful..we can xcess the lecturer's notes,assignments...quizzes via internet..so it is very2 crucial to have a laptop and internet excess here..not for leisure purposes..but study purposes...:)I guess that..since my hostel doesnt have wifi excess so..it will be good if I go and spend my time here in the library to study and go on9!!aahhaha..:)
