when kurma turns out to be kari

Assalamualaikum.

Posto posto, the cafeteria closed till monday. Haha holding my breath when I heard that from my friend. I'm not going back home this cuti. I don't cook literally on my own, depending cafe on foods. It was alarming and I heard the news at giant. 
Giant filled with humanssss.Lots of them buying stuffs for AidilAdha celebration. Ngam ngam gaji lagi. Nahhh keramaian sana. Haha. So, after I saw ocean of people in Giant my mind just go blank, blurred and we didn't even buy food stocks for our 3 days cafe-less day. So, today, we went to kedai runcit in front, buy beras, buy onions and the canned food and list go on. Shocked!We paid RM 72 for it. Haha I count back and suspected the cashier miscalculated our stuffs. Resit takda. Haha No comment. Big lesson for me. But nevermind, we still can eat, we still have the power and money to buy foods than some people in other parts of the world. Alhamdulillah.
Forget about that!!Talking about the cookout in my previous post was a huge success. Haha. Everyone was happy, tummies were happy. We ate non stop yesterday. With many ketupat to be finished, popia and special try on trial and error dish of mine, Kurma Ayam. Bought the instant paste and wallahhh menjadi lah. Haha but then, at the end, the Kurma Ayam turned out to be Kari Ayam because of the taste. Bapak laughed all the way when he heard that and mak told me that maybe kurang garam. Hahaha nevermind, it's my first try and it was a good one. Yippeee happy me! At least it can help me to cure my longing for home meals right. :D

A bit on the Kurma Ayam aka Kari Ayam recipe from ze cheffeeee:
Ingrediante:
Red Onions, Garlic and Slices of Ginger
Chickensssssss
Maggi Instant Kurma Ayam Flavour
Potatoes
Tomatoes (optional)
Santan/Ideal Milk (Instant/Manually Perah)
Salt, Sugar and Everything Nice

Method:
1. Heat up minyak. Tumis all onions and ginger sampai wangi.
2. Bancuh serbuk instant with water and mix it in the tumisan. *sound effect minyak*
3. Then put them chickensss in. Boil for 20 minutes. Tambah air sikit.
4. When the gravy thickens, tambah air sikit and put your potatoes in. Potatoes cooked then put in your tomatoes. Add up some salt, sugar, ajinomoto or anything you like as long as it can give the taste. 
5. Lastly, add some santan/ideal milk. The more you put, the creamy it izzzaahhh. Haha
6. There you are! Kari ayam eh...Kurma Ayam :D
Will try the real time Kurma Ayam without any instant perencah. Hahaha wajib tahu.
