wife or wives?

Media went frenzy about this marriage, second marriage thing. What is my take on it?

Truthfully,

I oppose how polygamy works THESE DAYS.

THESE DAYS but not during our Prophet time. Noto say our Prophet was wrong to practice polygamy. But our Prophet did it properly and with STRONG concrete reasons. And now, of all reasons, the first reason guys who wants polygamy will just defend themselves as "mengikut sunnah" or in the other words..being pious and religous but somehow, it's more to "nafsu" and self interest. Wants to replace old wives to brand new wife, young wives, beautiful bla bla. :(

A few years back, I went to a ceramah with a cute ustazah in Labuan. We discussed about a simple topic, love. One of her quote that I remember till today was:

" Cinta lelaki flexible. They could just love a few person in a time. And that makes them able to practice polygamy". Wallahualam. Maybe yes or maybe no.

They said, we can gain a lot of pahala and payung emas if we let our husband to marry other woman. For me, I can't. I'm not that GOOD to let my emotions shut down and be happy on SHARING. Azzah don't share. I could be fueled up with jealousy and hate, eventually i could hate my madus for marrying the man I love (and I would do some crazy stuffs too, nauzubillah). So, where did the pahala goes and payung emas goes when it gave me negative vibes on sharing? Saya tidak mampu.

If a guy intended to practice polygamy, be my guest IF you're mampu, not only zahir, batin but your EQ. If you're able to divide time, energy, love, equality in loving women, go ahead. But if you're married to a woman and stilllll don't have time for her, don't understand her that much...think again about your decision.

To married guys, i'm sure the woman besides you is the BEST thing you could ever had. Without her, you'll be that messed up, demotivated, skinny and clumsy. She prays for you. She cooks for you. She take care of your children for you. She reminds you to pay your bills. She wakes you up for work. She clean up the house. She makes herself beautiful just for you. And the most important thing, she was destined to be with you because she completes your imperfections.

I'm not married yet, perhaps my point of view is that narrow or wrong.Wallahualam.

p/s Nah, not referring to ALL guys out there, just some. Some irresponsible jerks. :)
