moderate

Salam

"Too much of anything can make you sick, even the good can be a curse"

Lyrics from one of my favs, Fight for your love. Luas makna tok. In Islam, we are advised to be moderate in everything we do. Moderate is good sometimes. In a few aspects like:

1. Love. Love to someone/pet/thing. Because nothing meant to be MORTAL in this life. One day the person you love dearly die or leave you or ended up disappointing you. You'll lose your pet tomorrow. Or maybe your favourite car broken down. Love moderately. Let go of anything that leaves you eventually.

2. Expect. I often put HIGH EXPECTATIONS to people. Especially to the one that I love and have close relationship with. I expect them to do the same way as I did in return. In the end, I'm the one who always frustrated and upset with level of appreciation people gave me. Maybe I should live on my own? Maybe.

3. Money. Money makes the world go round. Well, implies to today's world. Eeeeevvvverrry single thing is Ka-Ching. Too much money can make you stupid, blind and crazy. You could be snobbish, you could be that thrifty, you could be heartless because you love your money more than anything. Kaya boleh, tapi biar seiring dengan kaya budi.

4. Power. Everyone wants power, authority. Somehow, being toooo powerful fades away your huminity cause you won't feel less than others or defeated. Remember, Allah is way powerful than you are Powerful man.
